When I design a product there are two things I keep in mind. Will its style look good 20 years from now? And will the materials I’m using hold up and age well? I am not focused on mass producing products, but only a hand full of thoughtfully designed and well crafted goods. The start to finish process of designing something is the true joy for me in this craft.

I became interested in sewing when I started altering my own bags and clothing to better suit my lifestyle. What started out as an avocation quickly turned into something more serious. I knew that using and wearing quality goods was conductive to getting the job done and feeling good while accomplishing it. I wanted to make those products, so I started Mercy Supply Co.

In November of 2016 we opened a brick and mortar store in our home town, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The storefront gives our customers the opportunity to try on our garments and feel our materials first hand. In addition to our own products we also offer a variety of other goods from makers around the country. Opening the store also allowed us the space to launch our denim repair service.
